Looking for short stories from community to put in minibooks lootable in game, that you can read in gamehttps://twitter.com/...171608734597120Very good idea for the community. Can we share some work here? Now I am writing a "Notes from Zub". about man who made this castle his home and fortress. Living alone in endless fear. I wanna make many notes about 10-50 days of surviving. Man slowly becomes mad with no communication with other people. It would be cool if DayZ players can find sheets of paper - this notesin game. Around Zub and near townsPilot version. Just a few dayshttps://docs.google....dit?usp=sharing
beastoverlord 574 Posted February 7, 2013 Keep it up. I know Rocket has mentioned this in more than just that recent tweet. I personally would love to find and read some books, or short stories.

mdmonnik@deakin.edu.au 139 Posted February 7, 2013 Umm, just letting you know, Rocket says he wants stories that are NOT related to zombies, survival, and the apocalypse. He said pre-doomsday kind of stuff, about normal things.

janus0104 212 Posted February 7, 2013 Someone was quoting him in another thread about them wanting everyday books like in Skyrim (i.e. 'Flora & fauna of Chernarus' over 'The day i escaped 20 zombies")
SmashT 10907 Posted February 7, 2013 (edited) What on earth for? It's just something interesting for players to find/read in-game.Sometimes people are spending long periods in DayZ doing nothing (waiting for a friend to arrive/patroling or guarding etc...) - so why not have them reading some budding author's works?Any who knows, maybe some of them will become rare tradeable items?Journals is something totally different that we do have planned. This was just a easy thing to add to the game I felt might make passing the time in the boring parts more fun, along with playing cards with other players Edited February 7, 2013 by smasht_AU
