Very good idea for the community. Can we share some work here?

Now I am writing a "Notes from Zub". about man who made this castle his home and fortress. Living alone in endless fear. I wanna make many notes about 10-50 days of surviving. Man slowly becomes mad with no communication with other people.

It would be cool if DayZ players can find sheets of paper - this notes

in game. Around Zub and near towns

It's just something interesting for players to find/read in-game.

Sometimes people are spending long periods in DayZ doing nothing (waiting for a friend to arrive/patroling or guarding etc...) - so why not have them reading some budding author's works?

Any who knows, maybe some of them will become rare tradeable items?

Journals is something totally different that we do have planned. This was just a easy thing to add to the game I felt might make passing the time in the boring parts more fun, along with playing cards with other players

Yeah but reading about some Russian guy doing his daily farming is boring, whereas hearing about how he had to pitch forked his butch wife is the face whilst the barn burnt down and other members of his family crowded him is better.

I'm sure people can come up with better stories then some guy doing his daily farming. :/ People didn't just read books about zombies and farming before the outbreak.
