screen goes too dark, help?

I assuem it might be a setting issue? When I look in the direction (Not at) of the sun, my screen goes almost black, look away and it goes back to normal.

Anyone know how to fix this by chance?

It's just the lighting in ArmA 2 as far as I know.

You are probubly not used to it, but if you stand in the middle of a field in real life at night I doubt you would see very far. Also depends on the weather conditions. Edited February 4, 2013 by -Daniel-

I know what you mean, I used to get it. I also used to get the screen going too light too like I had been flashbanged, try seting gfx memory to 'Default' I am sure that is what fixed it for me

this is during Sun set or sunrise moments , Its just how the game works.

you look at the sun than everything gets dark and look away its light , Just HDR.
