Rifle bash ?

This might seem like a simple idea, but what if the devs implemented a way to bash with the stock of your weapon ?

It could deal few damages, as well as stunning your opponent for a small amount of time or blurring his vision.

What do you guys think about that ?

I'm sure if I smashed the butt of my gun into the bridge of your nose or your eyebrow, I'd knock you to the ground and you'd be in great pain. But yes, I like it! Oddly enough I haven't seen this suggested before.

I played a bit of Takistan Life: Revolution the other day and I was watching civilians punching each other and insurgents bashing them with rifles.

No idea if that actually does any damage or what keys trigger those animations.

Yeah, it could also make the foe bleed. But I've always found this thing lacking in a lot of FPS, because bashing with your weapon is actually quite realistic and useful to save your ammo.

really there are 1000000 posts that suggest the exact same thing, its probably just impossibru to find them.

I really like this idea, it could be used by hero's to knockout someone hostile and move out of the area or whatnot, and could be used by bandits to rob players (as accessing player gear will prob. be implemented in the standalone) while not killing them, possibly decreasing the death rate of the game.

I didn't think that way, but hell yeah this is an awesome idea.
