Direct chat isn't working at all

Hello everyone. :)

I've had this problem for a really long time, but I haven't bothered with posting about it before now. As the title says, my direct chat isn't working. There are several times, such as today, where some players I've been in fight with claim they talked to me in mic on direct chat. Today a guy asked if i wanted to join the chopper in direct chat, but because they had fired at me 10 mins earlier, i assumed they were coming to kill me. The truth turned out to be very different. :/

Anyways, i cannot write, use mic nor receive messages via text or hear others' mics. When i type to others i can see what i wrote as a seemingly working message, but when i tried it with my friend he never received it, nor could i read his messages.

Is there any fix for this? Help would be very much appreciated. ^_^

Download the latest beta patch, and make sure it's running as admin.

The thing is i've had this problem on all of the beta patches. I've used the dayz commander to make sure it's updated too.

I'm getting ALL my players complaining about this too.  Since the 1.8 update.  Any chance someone from the dev team can shed some light on it, as this has been an issue since January now for other people.  On my server I've disabled Voice of Sidechat , but nothing else.  I'm pretty sure this shouldn't cause the issue as I was told it wouldn't, and it doesn't make logical sense to break anything but SIDEchat.
