Is Dayz going to be optimized in an future community update?

Recommended Posts

Most likely its a mod for a finished game, you could try fiddling with the video settings.

The best reason I could think of why you get 10 fps is that your PC isn't good enough.

Hello there

Dayz as a MOD being "optimised" and affecting FPS is not likely.

The issue lies with Arma2/CO. Although, new fixes and optimisations are being released all the time.

Arma is a very demanding sim compared to many modern titles.

By the way, does Rocket plan on optimizing the standalone ?

The fualt does not lie with dayz, and the fact that both rocket and Bohemia are working on standalone/dayz I would highly doubt you would see any more optimization for it. I mean arma 2 just eats CPU

Radeon HD 4300/4500 Series.

AMD P320 II Dual Core ~2,4Hz

Well there's your problem. You're using a shitty laptop.

I have a R7870 and an AMD A6 3670 (not exactly a performer, I know) and I struggle occasionally, although that's on Very High settings.

If you wanna play, you're have to upgrade to a better rig.
