Complete Noob

Hi I'm Ed i am 15, from the UK and my Steam Id is Jetcat19

I was wondering if any servers would accept me and if i could get whitelisted. My problem is that I am a complete Noob. and would be Derping around a bit trying to be sneaky. so please can anyone give me advice to join a good server.

yes i am,, just so many versions i updated twice and had to reinstall because no servers had the version i had :(

make sure to run all default Arma II/OA/DLC first

install DayZ Commander and go to the "install/update" tab at the top of DayZ commander

ArmaII - 100697

DayZ - 1.7.4.4

also go to the settings tab in DayZ commander and check the boxes

launch using steam

replace origional Arma2OA files with beta so steam works

oh and launch the game from DayZ commander too for less hassle. just type trickery in search filter and you should see my server pop up, join it using DayZ commander

it's just the default DayZ chernarus map, you don't need to install any maps (I know there's a big list in DayZ commander for custom maps but you don't need them to play normal DayZ)

We would like to have you on our team, we can help you learn the ropes. We are currently playing on Server US 310 Dallas. The server currently has 400 vehicles. Its the best server I've played in for the past 9 months. It is currently whitelisted. When you log in it will give you information on how to apply. Most of the time it is instant approval. Or you can reach me (Snoopy) at ts101.light-speed.com:4888 and I or anybody else on the Ts can ask the admin to add your name to the server. We would just need your Dayz gaming name. We have had the minimum amount of hacking compared to all the other servers i have played in.
