dave_beastttt 3 Posted February 1, 2013 Well it protects against teleporters, are there no alternatives then?
Wotuu 11 Posted February 1, 2013 It's being worked on, there's some problems with the domain afaik!
dave_beastttt 3 Posted February 2, 2013 This is ridiculous, hopefully the devs of Gotcha read this and realise their software is flawed if it needs to connect via internet when their end is down, a scriptbag of fail imo.

dave_beastttt 3 Posted February 2, 2013 It's been down for about 17 hours now, no backup plan? No option to run offline?
dave_beastttt 3 Posted February 2, 2013 From Gotcha's Twitter feedgotcha-antihack @GotchaAntihack Hey guys, we got hacked and our server was spammed with mailware. Which caused our hoster block our website.. We're sorry and working on it
Pegz 49 Posted February 3, 2013 Gotcha's tp prevention is flawed and unreliable as hell. It gives out more false positives then it catches real hackers. Just install the GCam script and rotate different admins watching suspected players. Best defense available right now.

Rest assured I'm working on a better one which can be integrated with Gotcha soon.
WalkerDown (DayZ) 296 Posted February 3, 2013 The only way to have a reliable (100%) TP detection is to read the client data from the memory (since the players/vehicles pos are updated in realtime), but this means that the tool can be potentially seen as a cheat, while in fact it IS a cheat .. i'm using it on my server, but since im using it myself alone i risk less, for a public app it would be banned by battleeye in no time (since it could be abused by anyone, just like the navigator).
