Help me find best settings

I keep getting 15-20 FPS. But when I play just normal Arma 2 I get like 80 FPS. What is goin on!? Anyways what are the best settings for my system?

My Current System Specs:

Intel Core 2 Quad Extreme Q6800

4GB DDR2 RAM

MSI Radeon HD 7770 Ghz Edition

SB Audigy Sound Card

Rosewill Green Series 630Watt 80Plus PSU

Seagate Barricuda 1TB 7200 RPM Hard-drive.

It's the server. Some servers cause horrible framerate lag.

Pretty much all your detail settings can be reduced to their minimum. No ATOC or anything frilly like that, I only use Anti-Aliasing at its min. setting and the VSync, everything else is disabled.

Make SURE your Video Memory is set to VERY HIGH, why the developers chose to have this defaulted to low is beyond me, since they actually put a GPU graphics based game (the smart thing to do). This made the biggest difference for me. For Shadows I use normal detail, if you want more than that go for it.

With fraps going I'm usually sittng at 40+ frames (i7 2600k, 460 GTX), and if anything I drop down to 28 at the lowest inside cities with a lot going on. Probably not the most beastly system in the world but it certainly plays the hell out of Day Z.
