After ambushing a guy with a friend and driving off with his car I found he had a L85A2 AWS in the gear. Is the weapon legitimate? Will I get banned for using it?

Yes. I still have my L85 AWS on my main hive character...

They've been removed from the loot table. The only way you can get one now is killing someone who still has their's from before the patch.

Treat it like it's some kind of vintage item. They've stopped making them (they no longer spawn), but you can still have one. Once they're all gone, they're all gone though.

You wont get a BattleEye ban, but I saw people who got banned from specific servers by the admin for using a scripted-in weapon, even though they didnt scpripted it in by themselfes.
