indalcecio 23 Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) So this is the first time I've gotten decent gear (G36C and M14 - and yes the G36C is server-custom) and a tent...I always either couldn't find a tent or didn't have anything to put in it.If I have a tent, put some stuff in it, and click "Save" on it - then somebody finds it and steals my stuff, after the server restarts my stuff will be back.Is this correct?edit: I forget, it might be a G36A on the server I've been playing on. I honestly didn't hack it in though. Edited January 21, 2013 by BenitoProfane
SmashT 10907 Posted January 21, 2013 No, if someone steals your stuff it will be gone.
Fraggle (DayZ) 15720 Posted January 21, 2013 No. If items are removed from your tent then they are stolen and won't re-appear.

Dancing.Russian.Man 1631 Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) What they said is correct in the more recent builds for DayZ, at least. There is no "Save Tent" option anymore, as everything is auto-saved.In some older versions of DayZ, like 1.2.7(Hella old by now, I know.), you could put stuff in a tent, save it, take the stuff out and NOT save it.That way the stuff would be back if the server restarted or something else happened, as the last save was made when there was stuff in it.Edit; Of course, anyone could save the tent and if the person who stole from your tent saved it, there wouldn't be stuff later on.
