The Prone Guy 6 Posted January 20, 2013 Try this:Run normal arma2 OA as if you were gonna play single-player. In the main menu go the expansions list. Check everything thing that says dayz, click ok, restart arma, load arma, exit. This works for me and most ppl i know. Hope this helps!
chris_heyward 47 Posted January 20, 2013 In DayZ Commander settings menu, you have an option to point to your ARMA and ARMA OA directories. Point them to the correct location. That is the only way to fix the'There was an error launching Arma 2 with DayZ, please check you settings, verify your game directories and try again.' error you gave us. Make sure you are linking to the right drive. e.g. My ARMA installation is located on my D:\ drive. DayZ Commander did automatically pick this up though so no manual input was needed
