Recommended Posts

Whoever that was shooting at me in the GAZ better luck next time. I did wreck the Gaz tho escaping, one of the fkn runway lights on the edge of the runway. I survived with my big coyote pack i just picked up there and the m14cco and my dmr. Lost a BUTTLOAD of ammo in the gaz fire tho...I backtracked to my bus and all was well.

Yeah snipers are a buncha faggots, he took like 30 shots at me, winged me once, maybe 3500 blood, and had no reply to my glib nice shot old boy, better luck next time. He was obviously butthurt his 2 hours of camping did not pay off.

I find it somewhat ironic that you are calling snipers faggots yet you are carrying a DMR.

I don't camp and am more helpful than aggressive. I don't camp the nwaf and shoot on sight. I always chat 1st. So yeah, I think snipers who camp loot spawns for hours are faggots.

Dunno about the homophobic language mate but 30 shots prob means he either wasn't much of a sniper or maybe he was aiming for zombies to protect you.

Either way you survived, well done.

If you were the target of an experienced sniper - you would be dead. Either doubletap with a medium powered rifle (like a DMR or M24) or one hit by a .50cal - you would not survive. You had luck that the so-called "sniper" seemed to have no idea what zeroing is or he was just a bad shot.

I was driving away like a crazy person in an erratic zigzag pattern, so needless to say I was not an easy target, and he did hit me once when I was at 200 meters or so.

snipers ruin the entire game honestly. i think they should be taken out. people seriously camp with snipers day in and day out. whats the point of playing dayz if you just camp with a sniper? also. when snipers are so rare its totally un fair when you get taken out from over 500m to someone thats just camping a bush and wouldn't even give you a real fire fight. in my experience ive never lost an assault rifle vs assault rifle fire fight. that stuff just makes certin things in the game totally over powered especially with hackers. theres a reason the coumminty keeps slowly diing. and thats exactly it.

How is it unfair? I mean honestly, nowadays, if you get sniped, its your fault, you probably weren't using strategy or tactics or being careful.

Snipers should be decreased to the point where you jump when you find one, the cz should spawn with no scope and you must the scope separate for that rifle. Make it hard, its not hard to snipe people, and its not that I have been killed by them every time its just that I find myself with snipers so often it becomes redundant
