The unsolvable error

For a long time now i have been having to deal with this error hopefully you may know how to fix it. Basically what happens is i cannot join a server because when i try it says "Battleye initialization failed". so i got on steam updated Arma2 OA's Battleye and then i attempted to reinstall Arma 2's battleye And it comes up with this message "Failed to start game (missing executable)". The weird thing about this is that i can launch Arma 2, but not install battleye. I have tried a variety of things like Manually installing battleye for Arma 2, Deleting the whole Arma 2 folder and reinstalling it, And i have even deleted the whole steam folder and reinstalling. I would be forever in your debt if you could solve this puzzle

if you are using avira antivirus it thinks that battleye dll file is a virus you need to add it to the exceptions for it to work

Is this a folder in my Arma 2 folder if so i cannot find it

And i do not have avira

But i do have Norton

check the quarantine some people have had problem with norton as well

I found this on a similar thread: Get the battle eye .dll and replace the one that's in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2\BattlEye

and

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\BattlEye

Turns out i do not have a Battleye Folder in my Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead/Expansion folder but i do have a BE setup folder what do i do?

Put it in expansions, Battleye.
