Bloodsucker's

Recommended Posts

I wanted to know what the loot from a Bloodsucker is for, is it just a trophy or something? Also why are they in a DayZ map??

Namalsk wasn't originally made for DayZ.

It was a part of a heavily STALKER insipired mod, and the map now has Bloodsuckers(From Stalker) spawn in it.

There are other Stalker related things in the map as well, such as Object A1(earth anomaly) and A2(bunker), and Vorkuta(Pripyat-ish city.)

Oh ok so this was first a S.T.A.L.K.E.R Mod

But what do you do with the Bloodsucker loot, ... nothing

  1. 1 blood bag
  2. APSI (protection device against the EVR effects)
  3. Heart: Bloodsuckers won't stalk you.

Be very quick looting them... seems that any loot disappears really quickly on them, even though their bodies persist.

Also, I hear that you want pass out/die when the crazy orange storm comes, if you have the heart. No idea if that's true.

I thought only the APSI protection device saved you from the EVR effects? Will ask about the heart and post back.....

The APSI helmet protects you from Namalsks rather frequent EVR storms. (They're much more frequent then the ones in Stalker.)

The Heart prevents other bloodsuckers from attacking you. It really helps, as generally if there's one bloodsucker a ton more are gonna come out of the woodwork.

It'll sometimes drop ammo and medi-supplies too, which is used the same as usual.
