nick995 2 Posted January 17, 2013 (edited) Can you be heard while slow walking? Edited January 17, 2013 by nick995
mick17 93 Posted January 17, 2013 Yes, inching is completely silent. (Possible by tapping your directional keys only when you have a weapon). Rolling is also completely silent. If you can hear yourself, other people will be able to as well.

mick17 93 Posted January 17, 2013 That's why I started my post with the word yes. That was an answer to your question. :P The rest was helpful info on how to move silently.

Saying "Yes, inching is completely silent" would be a correct answer to "Is inching quiet?" The correct sentence you were looking for was probably "Yes, but inching is completely quiet." You can now understand the confusion expressed by nick995 to your original answer. Poor nick995 was put in to a difficult situation and was forced to endure unnecessary scrutiny over his misunderstanding of the sentence. Let's not make nick995 feel bad for asking questions on the forums ever again.
mick17 93 Posted January 17, 2013 Yes, there should have been a 'but' there, I realize that. Although thats why answered him the first time in what you quoted. Notice the happy, fun face! The second question Fraggle just pointed him to my first post, and I affirmed it. Apologies if it offended nick! Remember 80%-85% of meaning/tone of a sentence is in body language and another 10% or so is in the tone of voice. The rest is just the words.
