Chris529 380 Posted January 19, 2013 That would be amazing, or maybe have a plugin for itunes or MP3 players en general where you can broad cast songs threw a make shift radio station. There could be a entire FM Net!argh I was typing a reply on my phone but it went dead. You can plug your mp3 player into your computer with double ended 3.5mm jack cord and use it as a microphone, you can't talk but it works perfectly for playing music. If radios are given multiple channels then this would be a cool thing to do.I was thinking it would be cool if just as a thing on the side to do in SA you could find long abandoned radio broadcast studios (maybe in a building in chernogorsk) which need repairs to work and also a generator which needs fuel for power. Handheld radios could be only found broken/some are broken some are ok and you need to find "electronic components" to fix it. For the radio station however you would need engine parts, a couple of scrap metal, fuel (maybe fuel tank parts too?) and a few electronic components to fix the generator and radio transmitter/antenna etc. Maybe it only has short range cover and you need to go out to repeaters/boosters around the map and fix them with scrap metal and electronic components to allow clear radio signal in that area and allow all radios in that area to work well. The repairs might only last a certain amount of time and occasionally need to be fixed. That could be something that will encourage teamwork too, people might not shoot you if you're off to repair stuff that helps everyone.I think that's been suggested before so I won't really bother making a thread about it.

beastoverlord 574 Posted January 19, 2013 I think I prefer the songs that don't have lyrics. I feel that a song with lyrics doesn't fit the theme. I don't know why... It just doesn't feel right.
Hoj0 (DayZ) 31 Posted January 19, 2013 (edited) Jean Pierre Taieb - The DivideJust wanted to give a reason: I think that the game should be more about the drama of the apocalypse than about our nerd wish of smacking heads.this i definitely like, that would be exactly the type of dark dramatic theme i would expect. Here is a good song also, the Deadlight theme songhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPN9jlSCDjo Edited January 19, 2013 by Hoj0

It just doesn't feel right.I kind of agree, If they have lyrics they have to be pretty good. Can't be just some sap singing cause that's his job. There has to be emotions involved. If it can do that, then let it be in the game ;)
pastelpunk86 13 Posted January 20, 2013 Would be good to find a suitable Soundgarden-track.. Im looking for it right now, but I can`t decide.>Something that sounds like Soundgarden (or Soundgarden themselves) would be my pick if I got to choose the opener for my own experience with the game. Just fits with being in the woods and doing dramatic things at the same time LOL.
Heiduk 265 Posted January 20, 2013 Maybe a remix of Frankie Teardrop with fewer vocals? Probably the creepiest song I've ever heard, it never fails to put me on edge.http://youtu.be/_5wJQkvSoOQ
