I plan on buying the G46VW 14 inch gaming notebook and want to confirm it will be able to run DayZ, because I know nothing about these parts yet I thought I would ask on the forums. You can find all the specs they've listed for the G46VW here: http://rog.asus.com/...ook/14-2/g46vw/

Creep- 569 Posted January 17, 2013 Oh look. Another i7 processor.Prepare for a less-than-average FPS while playing ARMA 2 / DayZ.What do you mean by this? Is the i7 not a good processor for DayZ?
finkone 320 Posted January 17, 2013 What do you mean by this? Is the i7 not a good processor for DayZ?Hes most likely talking about how often i7 owners don't get the word to stop multi-threading because it will help increase FPS when disabled.I own a slow ass AMD anyways. :|

HooWoo 107 Posted January 17, 2013 It'll run fine but why did you get a laptop? portability isn't really a good enough reason to not get a 3x more powerful desktop than that for the same price...

Dancing.Russian.Man 1631 Posted January 17, 2013 (edited) What do you mean by this? Is the i7 not a good processor for DayZ?Generally speaking, it SHOULD be.But there are a lot of people here on the forums that have i7 processors and complain about performance issues.Edit; Yeah, pretty much what the other guy said. Multi/Hyper-threading seems to cause a lot of problems with ARMA 2 / DayZ, and no, it's not the same for other games.
