Flashlights and handheld searchlight.

Now we know that DayZ Standalone will allow weapon customization. That will probably include flashlights.

So I'm suggesting a handheld searchlight, which can't be attached to a weapon, but can be carried like the current flashlight. It would be found in indrustial loot spots and would have a way bigger beam than the current flashlight and would have a very long useable range, something like 200-300 meters.

Batteries are also being added and these wont take the smaller batteries used in common flashlights, it would need charged lithium-ion batteries, which could also be found in indrustial loot spots. A fairly rare spawn.

I liked the Lingor Vest torches, I would love to see them in the SA. A big torch would paint you as a hucking fuge target though, I don't fancy the new Zeds chasing me let alone other players.

even to have the flashlight available on its own instead of having to replace your secondary slot would be a huge improvement,but I think their doing that anyway in the standalone.

I wasn't saying it replaces handgun slot. Having it on the toolbelt just like the melee weapons in standalone would be great. It's not like you should drop your holster or rifle to carry something that you already have.
