realistic factors and ideas

I currently am un-able to play as I own a mac (bad mistake on my part) but after seeing gameplay, and reading up on the game and whats expected to be coming in the SA,

I like the idea of stamina, i'm pretty sure only certain people could run like the players do in game like Mo Farah.

Also you could incorporate adrenaline into that, maybe a faster sprint??

I think you could go one step further than an upset stomach, like Rocket explained in a power point presentation, they may be looking at a few different health problems that could occur I feel this would add a great aspect to the game as it would make you think a lot more about approaching situations. Like he mentioned big cities like Cherno and Elektro could be disease ridden, so if you spend too much time there, you get sick.

Purifying water and making better food also seems like a good idea, only if it was reletivly hard to achieve, maybe you get longer sprints, more resilient to infection/disease etc.

And last but not least, release this for mac :D I know it's all down to PC sales and if it is a valid option and cost effective. But i'm sure the player base would increase exponentially if it was more widely available.

Try to get into the whole story and think of items/dunctions that whould still be there. Day z is all about a zombie outbreak, where the survivor arrives to a town with everything abandend my the people that lived there, and the people that are still there have become zombies.

If we try to apply your ideas to this story:

1. Stamina - Ofcourse you cant run forever, and a meter would be nice, maybe after 2km of sprinting the survivor needs to stop to catch his breath.

2. item drop - Thats a realistic, but it would never work, for example, shoting a backpack would go right through it and hitting the survivor, and if you had stuff in it, they would be destroyed, this makes the game itself realy borring that everytime you go into a fire fight, everything is lost. perhaps the backpack would break and become useless after being shot 20 times, the survivor then needs a new backpack, but the item itself would still be okey.

3. Ovens - A nice idea, but a zombie outbreak would leave powerplants off, mayne because of an overloade, gas the same, this makes ovens useless anyway. However, a tetra kitchen would be a nice idea to use istead, it only requare a bit of methyladed and matches to work.

4. Pick-up truck - dont realy know what you mean by logotype supplies, but it is slower then cars, maybe around 10km/h slower but faster offroad.

5. Virus - Sounds like an good idea that forces survivors to take care of them self more, but how will you get the virus? by eating raw meat perhaps, or caned food without coking it?

6. Water - I think this is already goping to be in SA, but it would also be great to have watersurces that is alreay cleaned, like spring water where there is no need to boil it before drinking, but it should only be found on the mountens.

or if a character dies and bleeds out into the water
