Remember back in the early DayZ when killing 5 people not only gave you the rag, but the cool desert camo too? Well I miss it, and I think that the rest of the bandit skin should be re-implemented.

They just need to make the Hero skin even more badass and then they wouldn't have the "Being a bandit just for the badass skin" problem.

I think the standard Bandit skin shouldn't be to different from the standard survivor skin, for practical and cosmetic reasons. It's good the way it is now.

No. People will always gravitate towards the bandit skin too much. The whole "Look at me with my badass bandit skin, It shows how good I am at killing people"

In fact, get rid any bandit skin at all and just have the hero skin.

There more peeps you kill the more cooler and badass you can look. when you get 100 kills, a bandit has a 1% per kill after to get a civilian costume :)

I've gotta say no, because a lot of people will get that skin just because it looks awesome.

The reason for the new bandit skin was that the old one offered better camo over the other skins therefor was pretty overpowered.

Yeah because not having the bandit skin, totally makes players not be arses who kill yer for your tin of beans!

I only started playing just after it was removed so I can't say how good it was for camouflaging but it was a nice skin, looking forward to lots more clothing options in the standalone.

It won't matter anyway, when SA comes out I doubt they'll have skins anymore. Skins in the first place don't make sense, since this is a sandbox game we shouldn't be forced into wearing articles of clothing that we magically obtained from doing good/bad deeds.

you beat me to it.

There won't be skins in SA. You can choose your clothes from what you find.

I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

will the clothes reset when you die? i think it would be cool if you could keep your clothes after you die if you go through the trouble of finding them :D

Probably.

The only problem I've got, is Rocket said that if you put on clothes you take off of a zombie too fast, then you'll have a high chance of obtaining one of the many diseases that they'll add. So if I kill a military zed and want to put on some professional looking military gear, I'll have to wait or something...

I think that the autochange of skins like the bandit of hero kills most of the inmersion that the devs are looking to put into the game. I would love to see that clothes randomly spawned on Chernarus so you can scavenge them and wear them instead of just get a clothing change because you killed or bandaged some guy.

"Killing people only gives you the scarf"

You see, that's the problem.
