Unable to join a game Error.Help!

Hello just bought the game today been excited play this game so been all day down loading finally got there downloaded dayz after. then i went to join a game and this error came up............. Bad animation file in format ca/animals/characters/data/anim/sdr/cts/c0_briefing/ohara_c02briefing.rtm.

Please any help would be great and if i need to re download i wanna put it on over night. Cheers

So you have Arma II and Arma II OA? Correct?

Did you boot up both of the games BEFORE opening DayZ?

Also, did it close your game or did it let you press okay?

Yes bought both games off steam. i booted before then i installed DayZ I went join a server and it started to load then this came up Bad animation file in format ca/animals/characters/data/anim/sdr/cts/c0_briefing/ohara_c02briefing.rtm. now ever since it wont let me in either game and keep bringing that up.

close steam

start steam in admin (right click and run as administrator)

right click on arma2 and properties then local files

click on verify integrity of game cache <-- do it twice

and do the same for arma2 oa

run arma2 to the menu

run arma2 oa to the menu

click in expansions

make sure the following are enabled

arma2

arma2 oa

arma2 baf lite

arma2 pmc lite

if not enable them and restart then exit the game

in the battleye folder there is an unistaller run that it admin and download the latest version from herehttp://forums.bistud...A2-OA-A2-RFT-A2)

go to http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php and download the 100258 patch

create a shortcut in steam with the target as or windows if you dont use steam

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" "-beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion" "-mod=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2;Expansion;ca;@dayz" -nosplash

and this in the start in

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\

you might need to edit them to your own paths they are standard steam ones in x64 installed on the main drive
