boxman80 964 Posted January 9, 2013 (edited) Hi, our community, The BSB Network have recently started our Faction Wars ( http://www.dodaj.rs/...resentation.jpg ) event, an ongoing event that will pitch our communities three main factions against each other, head to head, in weekly events.The factions are hostile (although they can still be "friendlies") and will be actively engaging in all out warefare against each otehr in the persuit of weekly objectives. However, to add a little spice to the mix, we're looking for groups of players or even lone wolves to join our server and make things difficult for them!We're looking for tough bastards who are ready to kill on sight and who aren't intimidated by established organsied groups, people who specialise in killing clans and groups! We are looking for genuine bandits and top class killers, not amatures. You will NOT be punished, kicked or banned for killing our members on our server, quite the opposite (you may gain notoriety!) so please dont worry about being banned or anything like that!If you are interested, feel free hop on our server anytime and start plugging away at people! Also feel free to jump on our Mumble server too. It takes time to gear up when you are on your own and if you want people to keep going with his load outs will help. I'm not saying AS50's and dmr's but an AKM and ammo and a decent pack would be nice.Our server runs Taviana 2.0, its really quite easy to get geared up and we have quite a number of vehicles that are spawning daily. Or can a wolf steam in and catch people with their pants down?Our cease fires are just for our members who are in the factions , meaning they arent allowed to kill each other and they can at least have a couple of days a week mingling and playing along side each other if they are in different factions. Non-members are ok to continue killing on site without reprisal - that's what Day Z is all about after all!Anyone who fancies gatting invovled witha faciton would need to sign up a s a member. Your right that it doesn't take long to gear up on Tavi but it does take longer because you don't have anyone watching your back and I move with caution when I am alone. the13th (DayZ) 32 Posted January 9, 2013 (edited) CCCP, im guessing its not EU, but dont quote me lol. Thinking about it, a starting loadout of reasonable primary, food and drink could be usefull. Im assuming the two factions start out vanilla, or are they equipped from the outset? Maybe an incentive for the factions to take out a bandit could be that bandits have a high end weapon? Not a sniper rifle, but a good class of weapon? Either way, i will be popping in for a scout around a little later, maybe a scalp or five if im lucky.Great idea of yours this, kudos to you.Ingame im the same name as here, the13th.Im sure the factions will come to hate the name! boxman80 964 Posted January 10, 2013 Yea there was a bit of a scirmish last night between our members and an unknown hostile (I presumed it was a guy called Gary Baarlow who has been playing on our server for a while now as hes quite hostile and well tooled up!).What basically happened was I hit his Police car head on with my Ural as i went round a corner. I didnt even know he was there, pure accident, but I didnt stop to find out what was going on. It exploded after a few seconds then he had a couple of pot shots at me as I went down the road. I was just about to log out so didnt really want to get into a fire fight, especially as I was alon hauling a lot of gear so ilef tit but told the lads to be cautious round the town I had just left.Apparantly then one of our community members managed to stumble upon the same town and ended up being killed by the same hostile! Fantastic work!Anyway, once things poroper kick off next week, I'll be looking at ways for any bandits or small teams on the server to claim awards for collecting kills.
