Hello,

so my internet isn't the best due to a download limit, and because of what i have downloaded through ssteam i am at my limit of 40gb now.

I was wondering if i could get a mate of mine to download it onto his pc/ or a disk, then i take the disk to my pc and install it off that,

is this possible?

thanks

yes if you sign in to your steam account on his pc have him download it then use usb or external hard drives,

a disk probably doesn't have enough memory for arma

If it's not a laptop I suggest you take your box over to his place.

Transferring from disk to disk when registry keys are involved is problematic at best.

The CD Key is assigned to your Steam account, yes. You should be able to right click Arma 2 in the Library, and select View CD-Key.
