Thinkin' about gettin' this mod.

Okay, so I was thinking about buying Arma 2 and OA to install DayZ. But, I hear that on Windows 7, Arma 2 tends to lag alot

I have an alienware m14xr2 with the following specs:

Intel Core i5 3210CPU 2.5ghz

8GB of Ram

64 bit windows 7

2gigs of graphics

Now my question is, will my PC have CONSTANT 60+FPS on Medium or High graphics (WHILE npcs and other players are

around me) OR am I better off just getting free arma 2 for the lower textures and just buy OA?

Where did you hear it lags on windows 7 ? It really doesn't.

To answer your question, we'd need to know the model of your GPU.

it will run and btw go to the nearest games store out into the '' (real world) '' and buy arma2 combined operations both in the same cover and it's cheap around $40 but if you don't like getting your butt out of the chair go to steam and buy it there lazy farts. Alien ware is the best brand of gaming computer so no problem with lag or anything and windows 7 doesn't lag only fucking!!! windows 8 does, I have one can't even go in a server it's that fucking stupid, the software isn't really design for gaming only entertainment like music, videos and ect. so no problems with anything the specs look find. So now you are almost ready to roll so go now HURRY!!!!!!!!!!! to the nearest game store before they run out. :)

That should be good enough for medium, but it's kinda hard to say since it varies from system to system, you could try the free version of Arma 2, but the zombies in dayz do impact performance too.

Yeah I was going to buy it off of STEAM tomorrow morning....the mod is just as easy to install off of steam plus the game is automatically updated is it not?

The game is going for 50 % reduction for a few more hours €12.49 thats as cheap as you will be able to get it..

Go down to the bottom right hand corner of your windows 7 machine (im assuming you have W7)

Selec the little arrow, then select NVDIA Settings

go to the global tab, and click on the little arrow and change it from INTEL to NVDIA for your settings.

Did it last night and I notice World of Tanks went from 40fps-105fps on Mininmum, so now I can play inbetween high and ultra and still get 40-60fps

My mate has a i5 3210 (I believe) he was getting poor fps, the game was in fact running on the intergrated (cpu) graphics processor.

I told him to deactivate the graphic option on the processor but this gives him other problems.

He has to select the Nv chip when running the game.

This was done over skype, so I'm not to sure of the exact details but he has improved his fps x3.

Sorry mate I cant find this little arrow anywhere, i dont have it on the taskbar area in the bottom right of my windows screen....

Have looked in the nVidia control panel and cant find any option either... im using driver version 310.64....

Please help me a bit more as to where I can find this setting.....
