Permanently zoomed in

Recommended Posts

Whenever I log into a server in DayZ, I am always zoomed in and I can't get the view back to normal. It happens with every server I go onto, and I have no idea why. Does anyone know how to fix it?

I have Windows 7, running DayZ through DayZCommander.

Like aimed down your sights? Or just it crops the edges of your screen? If it's just cropping the edges of your screen you just need to go into the game's video options and make sure the 3D settings are set to the same resolution as your computer monitor.

Yeah, it's zooming like it does when you press the right mouse button. I've tried pressing - and everything else too, but nothing seems to be working.

Oh... maybe you are in 1st person. Try hitting the enter key (for some reason I have to use the numbers section's enter key on my computer so try that too).

EDIT: Sorry if this just sounds stupid. I have no idea of your experience level other than the fact that this is your first time on the forums.

In both first and third person, I cannot get my view to go back to normal. It's permanently zoomed in as if holding the right mouse button or numpad+

Try making a new profile at the main menu to see if it was something in your profile settings/config that has caused it.

Smash, that seems to have worked. I did that and I played DayZ without any problems for about an hour.
