SO THERE I WAS...

I recently looted an AK and a camo outfit from a bandit and also found a coyote backpack shortly thereafter. I'm making my way out of Cherno just slinking out of there when my guy gets shot in the buttocks. Bleeding instantly, i rush to a nearby firehouse and up the tower, setting up a barb fence at the ground floor. After bandaging myself, i get to the top floor and wait for this sucker to pop his head out. My rule of thumb is to shoot all bandits due to a bad experience and now there are many dead bandits after that experience. Sure enough a bandit and his buddy come onto the firehouse roof looking to shoot me. Now unfortunately for them i had several grenades and a fully automatic assault rifle. Long story short i grabbed some ammo off their corpses and continued my trek out of Cherno. A word to the bandits: You may be able to get away with killing fresh spawned players, but when you pick a fight with someone who has done several laps around the map hitting up the airfields and picking up their serious firepower (then using it to hunt bandits), you may want to rethink your strategy.

tl;dr : i kill lots of bandits and it gives me the feel goods

I feel bad that in your "several laps of the map hitting up the airfields" that you only found an AK. I would have been raging. :(

Somewhat off-topic:

How does one loot clothing off a dead player, or was the camo outfit in their backpack?

I ask because I have died wearing camo clothing before and when I looted my body I could not find a way to get the camo clothes off my corpse.
