You have 1/2 luck he shoot you just for fun.Same if he say "friendly,friendly"(He'll just steal your gear in your bag and kill you after).

Never trust anyone.

And try to go out of Electro or Tcherno,too many people or snipers.

I generally wouldn't even approach them. If they are hostile you may have to kill them. If you do, you get the bandit skin and nobody will trust you from that point on. Always try and reach an advantageous position before knocking them out, looting their bag and gear and leaving.
