toxicsludge 406 Posted February 4, 2013 Its great, but expect a 10 fps loss.I can't say I have experienced this myself. I mean I ALWAYS get fps drops in cities, but haven't noticed any anywhere else.

MakeThemListen 51 Posted February 6, 2013 I will not play this game without SweetFX because it looks so much better, and I get absolutely no framerate loss whatsoever.
jonnyzero 0 Posted February 6, 2013 HeyQuick questions. I own Arma 2 CO and don't seem to have a separate OA folder, so I've just unzipped the ARMA II.rar into C/Program Files (x86)/Bohemia Interactive/Arma 2/Do you think that'll suffice? Under DayZ Commander's settings, it lists my ARMA2 and OA directories as being the same location (as stated above). Thanks

colekern 1364 Posted March 5, 2013 Make sure you guys use the 32-bit version of Arma 2, otherwise it just crashes your game.

VidKo 53 Posted March 20, 2013 (edited) I also own the retail version of the ARMA 2 CO. I copied it to the following folders:Arma 2Arma 2\Expansions\BetaIt looks way better, but it takes 0-7fps for me. Edited March 20, 2013 by VidKo
ast65 11 Posted March 20, 2013 Nope. I run it using arma 2 oa beta patch.you´ve got to put the files in your main ArmA2 directory and in your beta patch folder (under expansions).
RJTurneR 112 Posted May 31, 2013 I tried this but it made the game look.. Worse and weirder for me, nothing like what was in the screenshots. Not sure if I have to change anything (Did try brightness/gamma but no difference really..).Shame.. Makes the game look awesome from looking at the screenshots. Combine this with JSRS and Blastcore, ArmA/DayZ would like and sound 10x better!
Anarchyihdi 151 Posted May 31, 2013 I'm still using this :) forgot i had it on, i wonder how my game would look if i just took it off... :|

Bass50 43 Posted June 20, 2013 Makes my fps drop from ~60-70 (outside city) to 20-30, then even when I use the ingame hotkey to turn it off my fps still remains really low. Gotta remove all the files and restart the game and my fps is back to normal. I have a pretty decent rig as well.
