Missing Chernarus Files

I download combined ops from steam, it gave me Arma II, Operation Arrowhead and the beta as seperate games, I decided to install dayz but it doesnt have lauch Combined Ops and it is missing some Chernarus file and a citizenscope problem? Can someone help please.

Sounds like you havn't started the game correctly.

i got up to lauching both through steam but it doesnt link arma 2 to OA? what should i do or is that fine?

steam launches combined operations as default it has done for a while now if you load up to the main screen click in expansions it will show

arma2

arma2 oa

arma2 baf lite

arma2 pmc lite

​if any are not enable d enable them now and it will restart the game

It doesnt have Arma 2 on the list just ca Arma 2 OA BAF PMF and (@dayz but i have installed it yet?)

close steam

start steam in admin (right click and run as administrator)

right click on arma2 and properties then local files

click on verify integrity of game cache <-- do it twice

and do the same for arma2 oa

run arma2 to the menu

run arma2 oa to the menu

It came up with 1 file failed to validate and will need to be reacquired for both on the verify

Now I have ArmA 2 as an expansion on oa. What do I have to do next?

launch dayz it should work now

create a shortcut in steam (add a non steam game) add any program and right click and proprieties and do the following

change the name to DayZ

delete whats in the target and put this in

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" "-beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion" "-mod=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2;Expansion;ca;@dayz" -nosplash

delete whats in the start in and put this in

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\

you might need to edit them to your own paths they are standard steam ones in x64 installed on the main drive
