Proof that bags are too small

Recommended Posts

I am still trying to figure out why/how a helicopter main rotor assemble fits in side a back pack of any size and why they are smaller then a MP5?

A coyote backpack is a military grade pack I believe.

Pfft. Same thing mostly... if Military grade packs make a difference, why aren't soldiers carrying around 5 M2's in their backpack then?

Indeed.

DayZ has one of the more realistic inventory loading limits I've seen. Obviously, vehicle spares being a necessary exception.

I bet most here couldn't run around the block wearing a loaded tacvest, thigh holster + subloads AND a 40 kilo ruck. But, we expect our DayZ character to run halfway across the map loaded this way on a tin of sardines and a bottle of pond water..

^This. I'm one of the people who challenges myself by using only a Czech Vest Pouch as my backpack :D.

Because, Rocket knew people would complain otherwise that they have to hike a Main Rot. to the heli, let alone find it first.

I personally have no problem with carrying the Main Rot. maybe as a Primary, to make it seem like you're using both hands.

Personally I'm tired of the helicopter bandits anyways, maybe if this were implemented, we'd have a chance to find ONE helicopter. Maybe once.

Heck... I've already found four Mountain Dews, two antibiotics, and multiple NVGs: no helicopter yet, because of derps hiding it on the edge of the map or an island or something...

250px-500px-WalkingDead-Rem1187.jpg

Was recently watching the first season of The Walking Dead and recalled the scene where Rick (the main character) went back into the city full of zombies with some others in search of his "bag of guns." He said, and I can't exactly remember this word for word, the bag contains six shot guns, two-high powered rifles, over a dozen hand guns, and 700 sorted rounds of ammo for said guns. If Rick can do it, why can't we?

It's not that our bags are too small. It's that our items are too big.

I'd be okay with that, but in order to switch to a gun in the bag, you have to put the bag on the ground, take all the guns out of it and set them down, switch to the gun you want, then watch a two-minute progress bar while your character packs all those guns back into the bag and hoists it onto his back. Also, no running with the bag on. Encumbrance, don't you know?

MRAs and engines should require a vehicle or some kind of trolley/sled to move.

While you should be able to carry a car wheel strapped to your back in place of a pack, truck wheels should need another vehicle to move.

As for full jerry cans, at 20 kilos each, you should be able to carry 2 on a scaffold poke Mad Max style, but you aren't carring a pack as well and you're not running with these either..
