Game constantly goes back to server select screen

Hi all - I've installed everything and I'm trying to join a DayZ server without success. The sequence of events are as follows;

1) Start the Six Launcher, select a low-ping DayZ server with empty slots.

2) The game loads, progress bars go across.

3) It briefly flashes "Waiting for Host"

4) The game goes straight back to the multi-player select screen within ArmA2.

Any ideas please?

Sorry to hear that, am afraid I'm relying on an answer to it here.

It's months & months since I fired ArmA2 up, hopefully DayZ will rekindle something ... If I can get it to work.

same issue here tried like 15 servers all does the same thing so i dont know

I am also having this issue, no matter if I try 1.7 or 1.7.1 i still get loading forever then as it looks like im getting into game it puts me back to the server list. Ive re-run updaters and I am using a fresh download from steam only finished this morning 6/18/2012

Someone got any ideas? Help!

hey yall I got the patch from Arma 2 in the link in this other post then re updated the 6 installer and it started letting me onto the 7.1.1 servers

If you got the game through steam right click ARMA 2 : OA and reinstall battleye

If retail download it from http://www.battleye.com/download.html and put it in:

ArmA 2: Put these files into a folder called "BattlEye" in your ArmA 2 install directory.

OA: Put these files into a folder called "BattlEye" in the "Expansion" folder of your OA install directory

Once the you have the game started up, where can you verify the current version to make sure it is indeed installed?

Not sure if you can, but you can just go the where the arma2oa.exe is and right click it then go to the details tab and look at the product version, should be like 1.60.93825

After I reinstalled everything the Six Updater won't connect :huh::huh::huh:
