resolution problem 1980x1024

i recently got a new monitor and it seems like 1980x1080 is too stretched out to the left and right. For example, when aiming in a scope it makes like a sideways oval shape instead of a circle. I've tried every other resolution. arma 2 is the only game i have a problem with this. I've tried every aspect ratio. Any tips? It's a 23 inch monitor. 3d resolution is the same. EDIT: i fixed it, problem was you have to restart the game to get the UI in place.

What's the native resolution of the monitor? I assume you mean 1920x1080.

i didnt see an option for 1920x1200

ok well i got it working fine but the problem now is my UI is out of place
