Masa_boy 0 Posted December 28, 2012 Hello there. I see that there is "Go prone" control binding. Why there isn't "Go crouch"? Please add it.

Masa_boy 0 Posted December 29, 2012 "Crouch" is not the same as "Go Crouch". If you go crouch, you can get back up by pressing the same button, if you use "Go Crouch" instead of "Crouch" binding.
Testwd3r235 2810 Posted December 29, 2012 What? I don't understand but I think...think this will help.Stand-CCrouch-XProne-Z
Masa_boy 0 Posted December 30, 2012 (edited) If you don't understand what I mean, let's make an algorithm for dummies ^^: do you stand & do you have pressed x button / \ / \ yes no / \ / \ crouch || if you are crouched & you have pressed x button \ \ stand upEDIT: In editor it seemed awesome, but in my post slashes are fucked up D: Edited December 30, 2012 by Masa_boy
TheDesigner 1197 Posted December 30, 2012 (edited) He wants a button that when pressed, you crouch and when pressed again, you stand back up. I don't see the need since C is about 2 millimeters away from X and is not needed at all, but if you want to make a mod for it, you have my half-hearted approval! Testwd3r235 2810 Posted December 30, 2012 Really? You want X to crouch and stand up? Look at your keyboard and see how dumb that is, your finger moves 2mil to press C. It really doesn't make any diffrence and I don't get why you thought it was so bad that you want it changed. Please explain why moving it one key to the left will help... OrLoK 16186 Posted December 30, 2012 Hello thereIt might be "nice" but it's probably a low priority on the todo list.LoK
Michaelvoodoo25 3120 Posted December 30, 2012 Erm, many games use this method for positional stances, why change something that works? However have a look on the Bohemia site for anything remotely similar, there are mods and other things for things like this, you may be surprised. plrsniper 87 Posted December 30, 2012 Can't you bind the two actions (stand/crouch) to the same key and it toggles?Alternatively you can just make a macro that starts when arma is running that alternates between c and x respectively when you press whatever key you assigned it to.
