mjkproductions 12 Posted December 27, 2012 Hi, I just got DayZ today and it seems I already hit a wrong button. This is hard to explain, but when I move my mouse to turn my player, it acts odd. The view sorta jerks around, if I'm finding loot in a building it jumps around on the loot. It was acting normal earlier today, but I guess I hit a wrong button. I'll go record some of what it's like. Anyone have a solution? Thanks.
rossums 2190 Posted December 27, 2012 Make sure you feed it some cheese. Mice like cheese. It might just be hungry. On a more serious note, post up a video - is it only happening in DayZ?
AmberHelios 2071 Posted December 27, 2012 are you sure its not lag or fps problems
Deceptor 9 Posted December 27, 2012 Make sure the mouse smoothing in controls is all the way down.
mjkproductions 12 Posted December 27, 2012 (edited) Yeah, I'm sure it isn't FPS problems. I have a good gaming computer, and, in cities, drop to about 35 (rarely) but mostly sit at around 50fps. I recorded a short clip, I'm not moving my mouse that rigid, I'm moving it smoothly and it doesn't respond at first, but then jumps.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lN24Y5h1Zd0...and yes, I know I was bleeding, I bandaged myself right after recording. irishcavemen@yahoo.ie 65 Posted December 27, 2012 Press ALT twice it seems you have locked your vision.
mjkproductions 12 Posted December 27, 2012 I'm just using the stock Alienware mouse that came with my computer. It's working fine otherwise. Turning mouse smoothing down seems to make it worse, and I tried pressing ALT twice already but that just puts me in freelook.
SkrooLoose (DayZ) 143 Posted December 27, 2012 You look like you were leaning. If you double tap your lean keys it locks you in the lean. Single tap it once to get out of it.
