I'm downloading the game right now(the arma II combined thing) and is there like a server for beginners or you just chose any with pros and noobs(Bambi's as Frankie says :P)

Anyway other then that, any good tips on where to start looting ?

Play on a low populated server to start and get to grips with the controls. Barns, Red brick buildings and towns are a good start, super markets and fire house's down south are good loot spots. Enjoy!

Alright :D thank you!

What are hive servers ?

You have the public hive servers that are connected to the main hive, this means your character is able to jump between these servers and keep all the gear you find and it will save you position on the map. Private hive is a private server, any gear you find + position is saved on that server only, each different private server you join you will start with nothing unless the server has a custom spawn loadout. =)

The private hive servers I play on are free. Some are password protected, might be worth checking the forums there are always hosts looking for players to join.

On the DayZ it said that what ever damage is done from dayZcommander isn't their fault 0.0.

What happens if I don't? And I'll practice for a few days till you come back, then we team up? 0.o

Hello there

Just FYI never pay to play on any server.

If you want to donate, that's fine, but paying to play? No

Also.... i would HIGHLY recommend playing the arma 2 tutorials before launch yourself into DayZ...

It is rather difficult learning everything from scratch while trying to avoid zombies AND bandits

just a recommendation tho

It's fine they have to say that because it's unofficial software. It's safe to use and in my opinion it's better than the official Six Launcher. Manually installing Dayz can be difficult, with Dayz commander it's all in one place and very simple to use.
