Ok so I've been wondering how close or how far do u hav to be to spawn gear it's been an issue for me so can any one help

Do you mean how far away do you need to be from a building/whatever for the loot to spawn? The minimum is 30 meters away, and the maximum is 200 meters.

So that's why loot doesn't spawn if you drive into, say a fire station?

Exactly. You have to park around 30 meters away.

A tip to avoid having to have your car parked out in the open for a bit whilst you loot is to drive within the 200 meter range, hop and then hop back in and drive up. That way in the time you have driven there after hopping out, the loot should have spawned.

some times it is helpfull to kill a zombie in this area. and get out of the vehicle if you got to the area in a vehicle and wait a bit, spawns will be triggered after you leave your vehicle
