How fun is this game? I consider myself a WarZ survivor I survived one of the worse games I ever played.

Is it a night and day difference? I bought and got refund on WarZ on steam and used that refund money to get Arma 2.

Also how well can I run this game. I got a GTX 560 TI,AMD Athlon II X4 OC 3.2 Ghz 8GB Ram.

Official Hives use the server location for times e.g if it was 12pm in the UK and i was playing on a server located in London, it would be 12pm in-game.

Private Hives can set their own times and keep it day if they wanted to.

Uh What I mean by Night and Day difference is quality between WarZ and DayZ.

OH i see, its all down to your opinion, imo WarZ was big ball of fail. DayZ adds more of that survival element.

I don't think we want to get into an argument between games here. Both have their followers. (That's not because we can't it's because most of us are sick of it. It's old news.) :)

Im having issues trying to join a server. It says Bad CD Key. I bought the game today from Walmart for 20 dollars Arma 2 CO.

I have tried this on COUNTLESS crappy games I have bought on Steam. I have never even been met with so much as a courteous reply, never mind an actual refund.

What magical turns of phrase did you have to use to convince Steam support to be reasonable about this?

Steam took WarZ out of their store on their own account. To "sort out problems with the game with the developer" or something along those lines. Which is probably why they are more likely to refund for WarZ than other games.

Totally right if you ask me btw. I bought WarZ,sadly not on Steam though, played it 1 day and unstalled it because it was simply horrible. Being starved for a Zombie game I got DayZ (like I should have in the first place), and it's so much better. So yes, like night and day.

I've only seen clips of WarZ but the most important difference seems to be of immersion. DayZ is essentially based on a military sim so in game its got a realistic feel ie noise and graphics are not cartoony like WarZ appeared to be. This is very important for atmosphere and the ARMA2 weapons/combat lends itself very well to the situation, I'm pretty sure the basics are similar so you might find it easier to start in DayZ if you've already played WarZ. My rig is marginally less powerful that yours and it runs very well.
