i dont know how people die to zombies, when I play with my friends i'm usually well equipped near the middle of chernarus and they tell me where they spawned so I can meet up and we can head north together. Before I get there they are complaining on skype about getting raped by zombies and I dont know how they manage to do it. I can avoid them easy and if they chase me oh well ill just go to a pine tree and they run off.

Just gotta learn how to hide from zombies. By the way it helps if you play at night time since they can't see you very well.

So find an unpopulated server and start learning to survive like the rest of us did. Not all of us found a group at the beginning, though this game is a lot more fun with a group. The only thing that changed since you saw the videos is that you don't get a gun and the zombies are a bit more sensitive. Start out in small towns, or run up a road and find a barn. Learn to sneak around zombies, or learn to avoid them. They stop running in buildings. Hatchets are the easiest weapon to find in barns and are very effective. Once you've figured out small towns and rural areas, start going to the big city where you can find awesome loot. I didn't step off the coastal towns for a good few weeks, until I learned how to evade zombies, find stuff, what stuff I need, and which towns are which. It has a steep learning curve, but it isn't that hard to learn. Don't be afraid to die. Stick to unpopulated servers at first. And like someone said, lose zombies in buildings, trees, and steep hills.
