Killing of a Hero

Well let me say that I haven't played in 123days and returned to dayz. As many of you may know there was a time when bandit skin were removed and humanity was first added there were no hero skins or banit. With that said let the story begin.

I log on and am on my way to meet a buddy at base camp. Its night I have no night vision and only an m16. I am running into a field and I see a person light up like a xmas tree with a red chemlight.

I was not dieing of thirst or hunger but I was in need of gear. I went prone and watch him run across the field, with hit back turned I flicked my fire select switch to burst.

I stalked him for about 30 seconds and as he was about to go up a hill I fired two bursts into him and watched him drop. I check the body and try to loot it only to find out he's still alive, I switch to semi and put two more in him. After looting his as50 and 2 mags. The side chat starts rolling. This person was calling me every name in the book and trying to get the rest of the server on his side. Needless to say they were all on my side. The tears this person was crying was so over whelming I almost felt bad.

Seriously nothing interesting happened You saw someone you shot him on sight like a jerk and you called the title "the killing of a hero" even though you never mentioned any heroes.

I could post a lengthy post of what he cryed about but you get the idea. Noted to ss next time. It should be noted he was in ahero skin

I've only killed one hero, since heroes usually don't kill on sight. I saw him at the airfield and shot him on a whim.

Then he proceeded to whine and mope and go "Which of you killed me? Which of you killed me? I was a hero! You're so dead. You're so dead." and verbally flail around and beat his fists on the floor.

Seriously? <_<

And it's not the first time I've seen hero-whining.

Most Hero's (Like myself) take dieing as Par for the course, its a choice to not shoot on sight, although I do if that scarf cover the player face, irrelivant of how it got there.

Hero's wine, nothing worse than a player who wines that I killed them, I say they were a bandit, and they wine some more about how they had to kill those 5-10 players (not sure how many murders it takes to get the skin) or they were accidents lol.

Sorry but if your that accident prone with a trigger use a Hatchet :)

I like it. I can almost see the angry comments you got. Its too bad you didnt get any pictures of your kill.

I suggest we start a new thread where we display screenshots of heroes we've bagged. Like a trophy wall :D
