And guess what genious.. these guys come back with same IP, same name and new GUID after I ban their GUID and then brag about it to me. DayZ forum says REPORT THEM HERE GUIZ!!!!.What is the point of reporting anymore? We can report til we are blue in the face and nothing really seems to change much. So I am highlighting an example of a complete dooshbag who has been reported before under a GUID and come back with yet another GUID and fucks over an entire server. GG.Quit using the only BE can do anything copout. DayZ staff want it reportd here.. then do something about the people we report. There is 3000+ reports on the community ban list and fuckall is done about repeat offenders. You ban their GUID and they come back lickety split with a brand new shiney GUID. Don't defend it and then provide no links or evidence, I'm with the OP BE sucks balls, Dayz Mod staff sucks balls at dealing with any of this and there is no order to this whole community what so ever... I run a server and am flabbergasted that I have somehow managed to have 3 keys Global Banned while trying to figure out WTF the hackers are doing because they NEVER get caught, logged, or banned by BE on my server...I've seen MAYBE 10-20pct of cheaters get BE Banned... ALL the rest only get banned because I'm on playing so much I witness hacking... even then I still end up stumbling across hacked stuff ALL THE TIME and there is NO RECORD of it ANYWHERE in the BE logs...I at one point was logging in and not playing just monitoring players, and like 3 were showing up on my monitoring program that were not even showing up in the player list on BERCon... WTF? I FINALLY found the guy in ONE log and he only had one entry despite having logged on and off numerous times and spawning CRAP LOADS of stuff.I for one won't even consider dealing with the standalone if they can't manage to get their shit together here first... Releasing the stand alone in Alpha yet use alpha as the constant excuse for every flaw in this game...It's funny too because I used to be surprised when people said they got played out on DayZ due to all the hackers and bugs, but sure enough I'm just getting sick of it... If I were bohemia I'd dump the standalone as a nearterm project, and develop the crap out of the mod so its DLC like PMC or BAF then they keep raking in the dough on a 3 yo game AND keep the community happy.I feel TOTALLY powerless as an admin yet there are hackers running around with impunity and laughing about it... WTF is that... I mean I can't even go into spectator mode to see wtf people are doing... you don't even have to be a moderator in most games to do that... Infact it detects them so fast, there are no public hacks ATM. And private hacks go down every week. You just can't really see it as it always comes down to Arma 2 being completely exploitable. Admins can also use the section to share cheaters they have busted with other admins. It's not to get people globally banned as that would be an incredibly flawed system, surely you can see that? One day you will get there too.At this point this forum appears to be a way for players and admins to blow off steam about how little can be done. At least you provide that. But, it is pretty clear that absolutely nothing happens from any report here on the official side of things. It would be better to represent what this forum really is, than provide an illusion that only continues the frustration of everyone involved. I'd say there are def. public hacks out there.The day before that I found 40 or so tents next to a Ammo Crate on the west side of my map... and I have to Legit find things since I run a vanilla DayZ public server, I don't even have any clue what else is on there and where it is.My big problem is there is NO good how to anywhere that I can see. I have next to no idea what I'm doing because there are no places that explain it except hacking sites which I don't want to go on or use since when I DID get frustrated enough to investigate that end of it I lost 2 keys in a row in less than a week. Yet I get the same average number of cheaters on my server every week, week in week out, I would absolutely love for you to PM me any resources or advice to help me as a mod, I'm getting ready to dump my public DayZ server because I think a Hive will offer me more control.The last 2 days of play have actually been inspiring for me though, as far as I can tell no one has teleported any vehicles the helo's that got fixed look like it was done legit... I REALLY want to keep my server up because I love the core game SOOOO much... but the powerlessness of being a legit player in it makes you want to give up all together.If you could PM me with info I'd really appreciate it.
