so I hear that rocket made it so you spawn without a weapon at the start so people are more inclined to work as a team.

ummmmm this will not work. if I was a bandit as soon as I found one i would shoot all the guys with me without a weapon. then my name is remembered. easy fix just make a new profile. and hang around the shore and offer to help everyone or shoot all une unarmed people in chern looking for a pistol. and even if weapons are harer to find or ammo. bandits only want the ammo to kill people so they get what they want. and if they kill someone else they might get a chance to get more ammo for themselves.

how about you don't post suggestions until you have actually played 1.7.1? Your opinion is invalid until you can provide an ingame experience demonstrating the problem. Most people have noticed an increase in teamwork, so we don't care what you *think* will happen. It's threads like these that confuscate the forums and make it harder to get useful feedback to the devs.

Keep moving. You can some back when the mod suits you, but really, we all need to keep it reasonable. Learn to read. People have posted this opinion, some worse and more inflammatory than yourself, and some in a helpful fashion. Some advice:

This mod is about dropping preconceived notions. These people will laugh at you for expecting game balancing, but yeah... Once people are 'on top,' so to speak, they cling to their gear like a WoW fanatic in top level PvP shit.

You know, people have been saying, 'It's alpha' for so long, but I don't think people really HEAR WHAT THAT MEANS.

If you dislike something in the new patch, dispassionately explain, so that rocket can have some fucking feedback.

Don't editorialize. Nobody wants to hear your editorializing that people will leave the game... You know, if someone leaves at this point? GOOD FUCKING RIDDANCE. The game is in development. In my opinion, it would be better off CLOSED with about 150-200 people who understand what it is, not a bunch of people who want a free AAA release title and act like it at every goddamned turn.

You WILL DIE. You WILL RESTART with nothing. I love my bits of stuff, too. I do. But these days, when I die, I realize one of several things:

1. I died legitimately. I fucked up. I deserve to die.

2. Another player got the drop on me. Very similar to #1.

3. I died from a bug. Has it been explicated in the forums? Then I move on.

4. I died from a change in a new patch. Has it been explicated? Then I move on.

Otherwise, make sure the feedback is constructive, not repetitive and have a good time.

What's so fucking difficult? This is not a released, major studio game. the feedback needed is what seems to be working and not working, not your assessment of the future business model, or your ignorant foggy headed number crunching about how many players will leave.

I think your missing the point of the patch. you missed it. how do you think the patch will improve team play? now I said how i think it will not and explained why. now if rocket reads that he may think ahh ok i didn;t think of that i thought it might push people to work as a team which is why I made the patch like this. I wonder how many others will think like this he will not be the only one.

now sit in your chair and shut up really your post means nothing. its alpha yes. its like giving orders (They start as an Alpha for example) or doing a recon on an objective/area/target. you have to think of all negative and possitives. people will give their opinions and the CO or the Ops cell will make a decision on what is to be done. The patch was to make the game harder and resolve the death beaches. Not sure if there was a teamwork incentive added.

Also, once a newly spawned bandit finds a gun... why would he go back to the beach to shoot new spawns? They don't have much.

Play, make your own mind and come back. Don't repeat what people say, it's not interresting.

The teamplay was not the only goal of removing the gun.

- it adds crazy thrill (works)

- it adds to the fear of death (even big groups are not sure to make it to their body now! it s wonderfull. This becomes more a permadeath)

The point you made has validity. So much so that, before reading yours, I read about this point several times. Then I read your post which just reeked of entitlement and all the things that speak of a childish mind.

The trouble with resolving 'death beaches' is that whilst they won't have any loot worth taking, it's very likely that bandits will snipe new spawns for kicks, because there will be no way they can fight back!

as for killiing new players. well so far thats all i hear on US2 right now. people being shot on the beach for their bandage. why? becaue they cant defend themseves and the bandits are getting what they want. I have heard 1 person say he likes it because its harder. and like i said many others have gone back to 1.7.

now if you dont like reading negative coments to a new patch or a suggestion then dont read forums. games are not perfect its alpha as everyone has said

But on topic, I'm enjoying this immensely. I spawn at Electro and I wasn't scared to be on the coast. With increased zombie LoS made me have to crawl all the way through Electro, while looting buildings. It was a rush. All the while, after I got a gun and some supplies, I saw other survivors, and didn't feel inclined to shoot them or run away from them. Kinda feels like the game did a month and a half ago, it feels right.

I do think that it is better that it is harder to find stuff but its just hasn't changed the PKing at all.

WalkerDown I think I have had 4 murders in the last 2 months or so since I first started playing so I dont think I am a bandit. However I think that many people who are bandits will not like comments like this because it would mean they feel they are being atacked because they are bandits themselves. people really only care about things if it has an impact on them. so if u dont like the fact that I like to play to survive and not get shot for 1 bandage for no point then I think you guys are the ones who are killing people for no reason. I mean killing players is more fun then zombies but think if everyone urned bandit then you would start getting shot every few mins and soon get annoyed because everywhere you go there is someone wanting to shoot you for nothing.
