Nosdii2 0 Posted December 11, 2012 Hi, one thing that's pressing abit on me is the ammo or mag's part if you willi am very tired of for exampe if you have an M4 SD and you use it for lurking about tapping some Z's and stuffso you use some round sometimes. What happens is each time you change server or log out the character changes mag to a new fresh one so the mag u started on is now the last one you will use. For example if you are down to 3 rounds in a mag and u hop back in somewhere after dinner you got a mag with 3 rnds in your inventory that is hard to get in the gun to use up.can we make a option either in standalone or patch where we can choose either to select what mag we put in or to combine 2 mags to make one or more with more bullets in them//Nodd
SmashT 10907 Posted December 11, 2012 (edited) This will be fixed in the standalone I believe, it's an ArmA engine limitation. I'm certain I have read Rocket talk about it before. Edited December 11, 2012 by smasht_AU
Dancing.Russian.Man 1631 Posted December 11, 2012 Has been suggested before several times over, but I still approve.Either solution is doable and realistic. Why not both? Mags aren't single-use, so you should be able to refill them from other clips(say, the guy's you just killed.)

disorder 344 Posted December 11, 2012 The idea was its supposed to be realistic. Bullets don't magically move from one magazine to another. So yes, you will come across your half empty mags, the best thing is not to keep firing 2 shots then immediately reloading. This is not a fast paced unreal style shooter. Happymrsnowman 52 Posted December 11, 2012 Can't you empty bullets from one magazine and load them into another in real life?Yes, but not instantly. It should be made a separate action. It also takes into account the number of magazines you actually have.
Nosdii2 0 Posted December 11, 2012 That would be the best way to implement this. The "combine mags" click to put to mags together like you can to with f.ex dmr-m24 or 4*m24-dmrgood to hear that you have this in your thoughts. I kinda figured you had but doesn't hurt to complain =)
disorder 344 Posted December 11, 2012 (edited) Can't you empty bullets from one magazine and load them into another in real life?Of course and I would love the feature to be implemented. I would also like to see empty mags on the floor along with discarded food and drink cans, so you can track where people have been. Maybe even bullet casings. PracticalTactical 164 Posted December 11, 2012 It would be nice if we could work with individual rounds. You could make your own magazine setup with say 1 tracer 1 hollo point and 1 regular full metal jacket round. That way you could get some interesting custom loadouts with some more diverse firefights. Frag rounds?
