Vysavacz 10 Posted December 8, 2012 (edited) Well the story beggins when me and my friend, have found Little bird in hangar at Krasnostav airfield, we have decided to repair this thing. After about 30 minutes we have found all necessary supplies and went to the helicopter, before we were shot at, the day switched into night immideatly. My friend has "died" when he loged back he was alive, I have managed to kill one of the bandits and fix the helicopter, the server switched to day againg. I have fueled it up, got in nad tried to fly away, then the hell happened. Bullets were flying everywhere around the helicopter, I have almost managed to fly away but then the "someone" has obviously switched the day into the night... Great, we crashed, I ended up dying, my friend survived, I wrote: "oh great was that hacker or admin?". Admins still have way too much power and basically do whatever they want in the game. Oh someone shot me? No problemo. I'll just spawn in what I want and teleport where I want. We can't tell who kills who, so hackers can kill everyone, we can't watch players through a cinematic mode, so it's impossible to tell if someone's teleporting, and you most certainly CANNOT spawn in items as an admin.If you own a private hive, you can edit the hive so you're tricking it to giving you an item you didn't find, but that's only on private hives where you own the hive. Again, admins cannot teleport, spawn items, or even kill players through any tools. Admins are effectively players who have the ability to click the "Ban" button. Public and private.Call me naive I guess.I'm no longer an admin, but I used to admin several severs, private and public hives.Yes, there is the possibility of admins using hacks, and in-fact, the person I used to admin for, used a tool that allowed him to see everyone on the map. It allowed him to see people teleporting, and it also showed people who would spawn in, and run straight to peoples bases, then trash them. I still don't like the fact that he used a hack, but he never once used it to find people, or anything like that.It sounds to me like you're picking terrible servers to be honest. I've recently spent most of my time on whitelist Australian servers, and the admins are all cool, and I never experience any hackers anymore.The only thing I dislike about popular servers, and their admins, is that they think they are above everyone else. Never 237 Posted December 10, 2012 Admins can't teleport, etc.Well lets be fair.Public server admins have their hands tied and can't hack/teleport etc etc, as these are scripts and aren't in the Admins 'toolkit' Basically Public admins have pretty much NO tools to actually carry out any administration.Private servers have custom set ups for admins, so there is a possibility you may encounter an admin with some advantage, but generally they only have those scripts as they are VERY useful for 'counter-scripting', and some have no extra 'powers' at all.So yeah you might find the odd dick admin on private servers, but its rare, and if you are going to tar all admins by the actions of one, your basically a cock.
