it's funny you say so, because ive seem to have the same problem..

when i first downloaded Game booster my games seemed to run smoother, better and got a great FPS boost.

But then after a couple of months, my games seem to completetly die off when NOT using gamebooster, so suddenly i was required to use game booster at all times when playing, and the ingame preformence starting to decrease slowly,

When i then decided to get rid of Gamebooster, deleted all files and traces of it, my games started to run great again,

I believe that game booster works when you downloaded it, but then get "worn out"

Is there anyone that can confirm this before I install it and start using it?

I've been using it for several years and never had issues like they are describing. I even paid $10 or $20 to register it awhile back to support them. Shortly thereafter they made it completely free and took away the registration option so I'm stuck with random "please like this on facebook" ad again but oh well.

It's a very popular program and has been for a long time. Give it a try and see how it works for you. In the off chance you actually see a degradation in gameplay after a few months as others described, just uninstall it since that worked for them.

I do like AVG, but I don't like that tune up program or any other tune up program, as they are full of monitoring programs(no parinoid nuts, not monitoring you, monitoring your system). That just end up taking up system resources and overall slow down your computer.

As for the razor gamebooster, I like it and I can see a difference in performance. On my laptop, I get around a 15-20% boost and on my main rig, I get about a 2-5% boost. If you have a neat and tidy system you will see little to no difference, but if you have a system over run with background programs, drivers that are not up to date and want a greater control over what is running on your computer during a gaming session, then the gamebooster is what you want.
