Maybe you can put a money into the game like every zombie you kill theirs a certain amount of money on them or you can find it laying on the floor or even in cash register.

The moneys value depends on the players in-game ,So money can be just a useless item laying on the ground or another way to trade depending on the players you playing with.

For example: If some guy1 says he will sell you a m4a1 for $1000 and guy2 ask him if he will willing to give it for a ak-74 and g17 and he said he already have those guns.

1. guy2 can try to kill guy1 and risk attracting a bandit to yourself or zombie.

2. guy2 can try to find someone with a $1000 who wants a ak-74 or g17 or both.

If your wondering why the guy1 would need $1000 it would be to buy a gun from, for example guy3 and guy3 need $1000 for a gun from guy4 and so on and so forth.

Oh and you can use the money to get like drinks or snakes from vending machines or just shoot the vending machines which would waste bullets and attract bandits and zombies.

No... I'm sorry, but rocket said that he wouldn't have a "currency" system. If you want to trade in this game you use a barter system which is ill give u A (lets say a As50) for b,c,d,e (being guns the guy with the As50 would much rather have or gear like nvgs/ghillie suit). If you don't want to do that hold people up.

I kinda just want it their as an alternative option ,but not a needed one. So it kinda the player choice if they want to use the money or not and just leave it with the empty cans and bottles.

Stated before by rocket that in game currency, more specifically, "micro transactions" will never be in dayz or the SA. Inb4graveyard.

It'd actually be worth something if it took a LOT of effort to make/get something and not everyone in the game could get that item. Like the real world. Not anyone can fix up a car like a specialized technician.

In a DayZ world only items of use are of value......

coin/paper money are only good to melt down, used to toss to distract a Zed (like a tin can) and paper money is only good for burning in fire or placing in your clothes for insulation.

A trade type of currency will evolve but it will be created by players and will probably be slightly different per server/ server cluster.

You do understand the world is infested with zombies right? No one wants your paper. There are no stores or resteraunts that are going to take the paper. WHen I trade i am usally giving a blood transfusion or some food/water.

yea i know i'm just saying that if you can keep the zombies under control then you can start some kind of trading business but that would change the game so i already gave up on the idea
