I want the gyrojet pistol and the G11 because we don't have enough us weapons around...especially prototype weapons.

Actually, they are planning to add common household weapons in the Standalone and they only have control over Chernarus because the other maps are kinda made by the community.

I wouldnt mind seeing the SCAR as its already part of Arma. However, im not quite sure why there is a need to add additional weapons.

I've always thought guns in maps should be regional, except where there was a conflict. That could offer a suitable excuse for mixed weapons?,

I want to see a SA80 with a SUSAT sight! (your giving us everything but SUSAT!)

Personally I'd like the AK107 added into DayZ, it's a great gun in normal ARMA, and I like it.

We also need stronger small arms (pistols ect.)

.22 rifles, bows, hunting shotguns and civilian rifles is what we need. Talking about prototype weapons and shit...

I think there's enough immersion breaking weapons in the game already without adding those that haven't been manufactured for 70 years or weren't manufactured at all.

I honestly think they should add a massive potential variety in weapons, even if it's mostly just for looks.

People like to make their characters have character.

If there was more of a range of weapons of the same calibre, ammo spawns wouldn't have to be of that many differing types. And we could still mix things up a bit.

Even a slight bit of difference makes your gun feel more like YOUR gun. That's that kind of feeling I would find important in this sort of scenario.
