I used that god awful 6 updater....

And it doesn't seem to be everyone but here's the list:

3rd person my char is invisible

no debug monitor

Eye and Ear indicator no longer work

Logged into server, didn't get a location like normal

Logged out to join with a friend and am now in the wilderness...

I know there is a layout for bug reporting...but it's multiple servers so.....yeah...

OH and it seems most of the servers that went to 1.7.1 have reverted BACK to the prior version...

You sure you are playing on a server with the new patch? If not you may experience issues.

Seems some of the servers have installed the DayZ update, but not the beta patch.

Im guessing this is the source of a lot of the reported bugs with this release.

Ive had NO problem playing on the one local server i found with everything installed.

Other servers however seem to give me many issues from unable to get past character creation or being instantly kicked by BE for a script violation to Terrible FPS and Zs still seeing through and hitting through walls.

I just tried 2 servers, the first of which was US1 hosted by TAW_Tonic, which i frequent as it has my tents, and on that one i couldn't get past character creation, and the second server, DE65 i believe, i got stuck on loading.

I have been up-to-date with the beta patches for 2 weeks now, so i no i'm all setup correctly.

Guess i'll just have to wait and see if it gets sorted!

EDIT: so i tried a russian server, got in after a minute or two of waiting for character to create, was getting about 5fps so i left and retried US1, i got in this time, and the fps was not too bad, maybe about 15-20, so it was playable, but not ideal.

and i have the very latest beta patch, literally downloaded and installed the newest version just before installing the new dayz version.

The latest one. I can now see myself etc.

But the game now plays for ~10 seconds and then locks up for 3 to 4 seconds then goes back on course..... Kind of like playing with severe packet loss, but it even does it in my background now. (Say the Multiplayer, Edit Profile screen - the image running in the BG.)
