So im loving this mod and looks fun but I don't really know if I want to buy it. More so of, does it take a lot of time to play can I play a few hours and have fun. Or should I wait until the dayz standalone and go from that? any input would be great, im jumping on both sides of this right now.

Wait for the standalone. Please search before you post a thread, as similar threads with heaps of answers have been posted already.

If you're impatient and can get a deal on Arma2:OA, I say go for it. I just started playing a week ago.

From what I've read the standalone version will be better but I wasn't willing to wait.
