krihelion 175 Posted November 30, 2012 Most windows you can yes, firestation is a yes, barracks is a yes, flight control tower is weird, once a tower took a shot from a 50 caliber, and did not penetrate(person did not have god on we later beat him in a firefight), but then I was once killed by a friend with a M9 since he shot me through the glass at a tower thinking it was bulletproof. boxman80 964 Posted November 30, 2012 I think it's either a bug or an intentional tradgectory change as I've seen bullets randomly stray off and miss when shot through windows - I'm a crap shot but even I'm not that bad! Castle (DayZ) 23 Posted November 30, 2012 (edited) Hospital and store windows have to be broken (which can take a lot of shots) before shooting through them has any major impact (shots lose about 90% damage passing through those windows fixed).As far as I know all the others shooting through them is like shooting with nothing in the way. wolfstriked 143 Posted November 30, 2012 This is something I was gonna post but forgot.Please devs make windows that disappear when shot.Looks way better when they just disappear compared to how the hospital windows look and even worse is the barracks windows that you can never tell if they are broken but instead look all brown.IMO all windows should disappear if shot at.Check out "Proving Grounds map supermarket to see what I mean.
